Thank you everyone for being part of this amazing community! We are 25 members strong and looking to add even more people in 2025.
We started the new year right with a big bash at James and Theresa's. Followed up by six potlucks at five different homes, a four-person birthday bash, a clothing swap, drop-in soccer games, board game nights, AND ten spectacular Seed-To-Table workshops. Thank you to everyone who organized, hosted, helped, and attended these events. We're looking forward to many more events starting with the 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM) in February.
Other milestones this year: we registered as a non-profit and received two grants from the City of Nanaimo totalling almost $6000 to support the neighbourhood association and the Seed-To-Table workshops.
